halo belt: be seen, be safe

HALO belt & hoodie c/o HALO Belt, Forever 21 jeans, Rag & Bone Harrow ankle boots

A smattering of miscellaneous photos that I've shot for HALO Belt (in addition to other photos in this past post here), a swiftly up-and-coming company from San Francisco. HALO focuses on using LED technology in junction with fiber optics as a safety tool for bikers and other people at night. What's really awesome about HALO is just how bright their belts are... as a biker (that's my single speed in the pictures!), biking in San Francisco can be kind of scary and intimidating, but I know that I personally feel a lot safer with 360 degree visibility that can be seen from a quarter of a mile away. Additionally, it also looks extremely cool. As an unabashed EDM music lover (if you follow me on Twitter, @sabbyagogo, I'm sure you're sick of my #nowplaying hashtag, haha), I can appreciate the fun + practical aspect of this insanely awesome belt.

Though these photos were taken nearly two months ago, it's still kind of bizarre to see myself in the numerous tech, gadget, and biking blogs that have featured HALO Belt. Sort of surreal, but still very crazy-awesome! Like this Italian magazine, Crackers:

Also, below are two short videos I'm in... enjoy! The first is a HALO Belt promo, the second is a feature from a French television show called Wazup (check it out from 2:17 to 2:54)! Thank you to HALO and the entire HALO team, it's always a pleasure working with you! x

  1. I wish they would sell these in my country! I don't think they do... sometimes when I drive in the night I can hardly see runners. It's really important to carry light :)

  6. Oh, neat! I'm a biker--I bike every day, and quite often when I bike it's eaaarly in the mornings when it's still dark (before classes) so this thing seems so neat. Such an awesome idea.
