a retrospective of two thousand and twelve

Just a smattering of my favorite looks from this past year! Fashion blogging was something I've always admired and always wanted to get into myself, and I'm so glad that I did. I've developed more of a definitive style, made some fantastic friends and met some really great people, and learned so much more about photography... just in my first year of blogging. What started as more than a mere whim and a little hobby has turned into a full-blown love affair.

Additionally, by going back and looking through these photos, I can recall precisely when and where they were taken, and what I was doing that particular day with certain people; I love that this became a photo diary of sorts. I also eventually got back into writing fiction (my first love), which is definitely a plus for me!

2012, though full of the usual ups and downs, had generally been good to me, so I'm very excited to see what 2013 brings, in terms of personal style development and for life, in general. Thank you so much for reading, j'adore you all and hope you had an excellent and celebratory New Year's Day!
