In the spirit of a friend's annual birthday celebration in Las Vegas and having zero clue as to what to wear, I whipped up a few fun outfit collages to inspire and get me in the mood! Thank you Polyvore for reintroducing me to your addictive and fun site; getting to put together my dream outfits that consist solely of designer pieces makes me alternately delirious with delight and with a strong urge to weep at my bank account.

So first off is this beyond beautiful BCBGMAXAZRIA dress! With the fitted and beaded sweetheart bodice and the ruffled tulle skirt, it's just too gorgeous. This is for the girl that wants to feel a little more polished and unabashedly feminine. To highlight the dress's nude and black color pattern, I chose simple but classic heels in a blush shade and delicate jewelry pieces, with the exception of a fierce black stone wrap bracelet by Chan Luu. Although the little Chanel bag is technically a camera case, I figure you can also stick in your phone, a couple of credit cards, and some emergency cash alongside your point-and-shoot.

As it's Vegas, of course you're going to want to get glitzy, so that's where this crazy-beautiful pair of Zadig & Voltaire silver sequin shorts come into play. I've always been kind of obsessed with bustiers and corset tops, so pairing this Bottega Veneta top, with its short peplum silhouette and glittery brocade satin material, was a no brainer. I felt like an all-gold accessories ensemble would work quite well, and I kind went Giuseppe Zanotti-crazy: the gorgeous black and gold swirl sandals, choker necklace, and ring all complement each other in a way that's out of this world, and the LeiVanKash rose ring is gorgeous yet eye-catching, and will be sure to get you chatted up by similarly fashion-loving strangers. I choose functionality with an Alexander McQueen clutch; simple, yet still undeniably edgy with the signature skull.

What's Vegas without something that nearly every girl (including myself, guilty as charged) wears? Ah, the bandage/body con dress! Still very much in the spirit of all things glittery and glam, I selected this gold sequin Hervé Léger number (as Hervé Léger and bandage/body con dresses kind of go hand and hand) and decided to edge it up a bit with these supremely awesome Alexander Wang cut-out ankle boots. The animal spirit was apparently strong in me with the Lizzie Fortunado stone necklace (I adore the leopard and black stones and "teeth" beads) as well as the LeiVanKash feather bracelet and dagger ring. Additionally, I really like this Oscar de la Renta clutch for the more interesting geometric shape and structure.

And finally, an extremely casual look for the daytime. I'm a California born-and-bred girl, so t-shirts and shorts are a second skin to me in the summer. Rag & Bone are unparalleled in their quality for basics and J Brand of course, reigns supreme with it comes to premium denim. I replaced heels and clutches with these Isabel Marant "Betty" wedge sneakers (despite the wedge, I heard that these kicks really are comfortable) and a Grafea Bianca leather backpack. A casual wrap bracelet and a pendant necklace from Chan Luu and Marc by Marc Jacobs, respectively, round up the look, and of course, a watch, also by Marc by Marc Jacobs, to keep further track of the time (just in case you lost your phone during the craziness of last night) and huge Karen Walker sunnies for optimal protection... because we all know that direct sunlight into hungover eyes are no fun.

Our friends and I are still in the process of planning out which hotel to stay in (we usually like to stay within the strip) and strategizing, with near military-like precision, which primary, secondary, and tertiary clubs to hit. I've also been busy scanning Poker Junkie's nightlife in Vegas for other possible things to do. I think I might actually try my hand at gambling this time around!

I leave you with this Sin City anthem by Katy Perry, "Waking Up In Vegas," remixed by Calvin Harris, which is, in my humble opinion, the best remix of the song out there. (Click to listen on YouTube.) Even if you're not heading to Vegas anytime soon, I think my first three outfit sets can be used for any other night or party events. What's your personal favorite?

  8. I've been surfing online more than 3 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It is pretty worth enough for me. In my view, if all web owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the net will be much more useful than ever before.
