Just a fun, easy-breezy look, now that San Francisco's marginally warmer! I was cleaning out my old room at my parents' house and unearthed my old high top Chucks... I've had these babies since sophomore year of high school. In my opinion, Chucks are the best if and only if they're old and scuffed up. Lots of beaten up love are the key to the perfect Chucks! Subtle print playing was in work, with my tee (it caught my eye with the repeated phrase "I love you" in various languages, so cute) and some metallic jacquard animal print jeans (whew, mouthful). It's kind of much, the varying leopard and zebra patterns in silver, but in the best possible way. When it comes to trousers with any sort of prints on them, it's baby steps for me. And of course, a hat, because I've got a scary addiction to them. I'm really digging this new jacket... love the slight oversized fit and cut, but best of all, the sherpa lining. Furry insulation? Yeah, I'm sold!





Also, this happened on Thursday! The Lady Gaga Born This Way Ball! I've been a huge fan of Gaga for years and was fortunate to see her live before in 2009 in San Francisco for the first leg of the Monster Ball Tour, literally just before she blew up and shot to super stardom. Last time the venue was smaller, so it was more intimate. She blew me away with her charisma, stage presence, and energy before and she didn't disappoint when I saw her again at the HP Pavilion in San Jose. Madeon was the stage opener (seeing him again tonight, woo!); he was so cute dancing and jumping whilst masterfully mixing some outrageously danceable tunes. All the little monsters were dressed up, so I, in my sequined bra, leather pants, and Halo belt, felt undressed in comparison to the dresses, sky high heels, and wigs. I went with my best friend Teresa (as huge a Gaga fan as I) and literally all dignity flew out the window as we screamed (a lot), sang, and danced. I'm pretty sure everyone within a five foot radius hated us by the end of the show, but in my humble opinion, you don't go to see Gaga and not get excited, haha. Easily one of the best shows I've ever been to and I'm greatly looking forward to seeing her again!
