let's conspire to reignite

Is it just me or did this week seemed to drag on a snail's length (even more than usual)? Perhaps because I was recovering from an outrageously long stomach flu—eight days, it was, no joke, a nightmare—or perhaps it's because it's the first work week of 2013, but whatever, TGIF, amigos! I wore this out and about while simultaneously hanging out and running errands. This is one of my favorite skirts: the bright cherry color, the micro-mini length, and the cream piping all strikes me as very 1960s mod. I made it a little more fun with a graphic print tank top and for much needed warmth, a thick bomber jacket. That jacket is an oldie but a goodie, and what I love about this is that it has a soft, fuzzy fur-like fleece lining on the inside. Always a bonus over satin or silk-like linings, in my opinion, if I need to get warm quickly.
