As it's been nearly frigid here for Northern Californian standards, I went for an old familiar pattern (I'm well known for being a creature of habit, even to the point of ridiculousness): black on black on black. I think the key for doubling, tripling, and quadrupling on one color are a definitive mix of textures and patterns. For instance, a mix of a fuzzy sweater—literally one of the softest in my closet—against a faux leather skirt and suede platform sandals keeps any potential outfit boredom away.

I hope you're all keeping warm and have lots of fun plans coming up this weekend; for me it's Chinese New Year (full of red envelopes, family, and deeeeelicious food) as well as hanging out at the track to see my boyfriend play with his new car. Also, I've got some personal projects coming up that I've been trying to work on... I'm quite excited about those!
