I've spent this weekend out and about in Westwood, Los Angeles; it's one of my favorite places to hang out and relax if I want to get out of SF for a different change of pace. Also, the promise of warmer weather was key. I actually wore this on the flight. This faux leather box-pleated skirt is still a firm favorite in my wardrobe and I paired it with a vintage blouse for a more classic look, as well as these ankle boots (only reinforcing my belief that I can pretty much wear my beloved Harrow boots with anything and everything). I'm actually not much of a sunglasses person at all (which also applies to bags), but I adore this particular KW pair. They're funky, a little out of the ordinary, and I've always been a fan of tortoise-shell patterned sunnies.

I'm flying back home to SF in a couple of hours and funnily enough, it's become windy and gray in Westwood, and it's raining on and off. How appropriate to get readjusted to San Francisco's ordinary February chill. Despite President's Day being an exclusively American holiday, I hope you all had a fantastic weekend! I certainly did, and the cherry atop of it all would be my visit to Disneyland for the first time in eight years—and it was even more magical than how I remembered it. I grew up with Disney films and cartoons, and now that I'm older, I'm actually more appreciative of it all and enjoy it so much more. As proof that it's the Happiest Place on Earth, even the boyfriend, who has never been, tried his hardest to find a criticism of Disneyland besides the long lines, but admitted that he loved his visit!
