Sound & Matter jacket, H&M dress, Rag & Bone "Harrow" ankle boots
Wearing all things that comprise of my favorites all at once can't hurt, right? Like I said in my last post, I've now got a seemingly insatiable lust for any and all things lace. I had picked up this darling H&M dress last month and wore it at family holiday party (seen here). The lightly flared skirt was key, and I love that I can use the dress as either a top or a skirt for potential outfits later. This jacket was also a fairly new acquisition and I loved the combination of the tweed-like material and of course, the faux leather sleeves (as I am always, always here for leather and two-toned jackets!). And these Rag & Bone ankle boots, in my humble opinion, are flawless and perfect, and actually really comfortable... I've spent entire days and nights in them! Thank you Rag & Bone for making supremely quality pieces.
If you just happened to be in town and attended Chictopia's "Shop It Like It's Hot" event, then you'd know what an awesome time it was! Various San Francisco and local retailers and boutiques, as well as more familiar stores such as American Apparel and Crossroads Trading Co. were in attendance. I caught up with my best blogging friend, KT of KTR Style and saw some other lovely familiar faces, such as Monica of Monica Living In Vogue and Jess of Hapa Time. We got our shop on, networked with other fashion lovers and bloggers, and the fact that it was held in a really cool venue downtown was the cherry on top of the cake. Thanks Chictopia for holding such a fantastic event; can't wait until the next one!
