I was supposed to meet up with my friend and fellow blogger Brandy of Will Bake For Shoes and her boyfriend at yesterday's ALICE 99.7's Zen and Now concert at Golden Gate Park, but alas! The allure of free shows with radio friendly alternative rock acts such as the Goo Goo Dolls and One Republic turned out to be too much, as it took my boy and I an hour to squeeze into a parking space about a mile away from Sharon Meadow. The line proved to be too trying for our patience, so we ended up meandering around the rest of the non-populated areas of GGP and enjoying the spotty clouds and overall sunshine of the day.
It's kind of hard to believe that I'll be leaving the Bay Area and California in a mere two weeks! As Pilot pointed out, it hasn't hit me yet. Oops. While I'm admittedly dawdling in packing and general sorting out of reluctance, as of now there's more important things on my agenda: hitting up on my friends to visit my favorite Bay Area food places as well as catching up on Breaking Bad. Have you guys seen that show?! Even though meth cooking, drug dealing, murdering, and seemingly ambivalent morals might not be up your alley, this show's superb writing, directing, and acting will quickly get you hooked! Plus the slightly novel concept of Hal from Malcomn in the Middle as Walter White the protgaonist-turned-antogonist main character, as well as FEELING ALL THE FEELS.
Happy Monday, you guys! xx
